What are our daily war plastic actions

The harm caused by plastic pollution to our green home should not be underestimated, and the global war on plastic has become a public issue in each country. In order to alleviate the harm caused by plastic waste, various countries have also introduced corresponding policies.

For example, Australia banned retailers from providing one-time ultra-thin plastic bags to customers from July 1, 2017; Chile, from February 3, 2019, all large supermarkets and shopping malls are no longer allowed to provide shoppers with free or paid plastic bags; China, in order to cope with the problem of “white pollution”, also issued a “plastic restriction” in 2007, the whole country has become a public issue. China, in response to the “white pollution” problem, also promulgated the “plastic restriction” in 2007, nationwide retail places began to implement a system of paid use of plastic shopping bags, prohibiting the free provision of plastic shopping bags, aimed at reducing the use of plastic bags.

So how should we properly “fight plastic” in our daily life? First of all, we should build up our environmental awareness, understand the harm of plastic pollution and the importance of plastic reduction actions, actively participate in environmental protection publicity and education activities, and enhance our own environmental awareness and that of those around us. We should minimize the use of disposable plastic products in our daily life.

For example, use reusable shopping bags, cups, etc., and avoid the use of disposable plastic tableware, plastic bags, etc.; choose to buy environmentally friendly, biodegradable plastic products, or choose to use products made of environmentally friendly materials; and separate and recycle discarded plastic products, such as plastic bottles, plastic bags, etc., when disposing of plastic garbage, so as to facilitate recycling.
