Looking at all that discarded plastic, it's hard to imagine that it can be turned into something else as well. Every plastic product in our daily life, regardless of its disposable use or not, actually has its recycling value. After being processed through specialized processes, they are brought back into our lives. Things & Recycling has always believed that environmental protection is not about forcing everyone to use fewer plastic products, but about bringing plastic back into the cycle.
PET is the most common plastic in our life, most of the transparent beverage bottles and transparent fruit/vegetable boxes we usually see are made of it. Because it is easily deformed when heated and produces harmful substances, it is not used domestically to produce new water bottles and is mostly made into recycled fibers and blow molding materials.
PE is generally used to make non-transparent, colorful packaging, such as shampoo/shower gel bottles, plastic toys, plastic bottle caps, and downspouts.PE has good heat resistance and can be reused after thorough cleaning. However, only 12% of HDPE plastic products are successfully recycled each year. Most will be made into re-molded products.
PVC plastic is one of the types that is relatively difficult to recycle, with roughly only 1% of PVC plastic being recycled each year. Common items include water pipes, and clothing fabrics. It is generally regenerated into PVC plastic pipes and PVC pen bags, etc. It is mainly used in the construction industry, replacing traditional cast iron pipes to make indoor and outdoor drainage pipes, wire threading pipes, and communication cable guards.
PP plastic is more durable and malleable, so it is widely used in many different commodities. For example, plastic milk tea cups and straws, disposable lunch boxes are also one of the more recycled materials today. We will use it to make document bags and trays.
